Genus: Pelargonium.
Species: Pelargonium tomentosum.
Bought from Chelsea Physic Garden in summer 2007. Velvety leaves, insignificant flowers, absolutely fantastic minty smell when you rub the leaves - instant aromatherapy. Does well in light shade, probably would be miserable in sun unless in moist conditions, was left outside for much of the winter, needs some supplementary watering.
