Palm Unknown could be Japanese
Bought in 1998 or thereabouts from Walmart for about $8.00. It was very small then and is SO big now that I can hardly get it through the door to take it oustide for the summer. It LOVES is outside in some morning sun. This is my favorite palm. I have it planted in a 30 gallon tub now.
