Yes, our gardens are all liking this wam spell.....but my water butts aren't empty yet! There's been plenty and it was still raining on and off here up till week or so ago!

My waterbutts are only half full we've cooled down here today grey skies but no rain, garden could use a drink really, been good and stayed indoors catching up on housework,lol.....

i dont have a waterbutt so i dont think i will ever know if it would be full at this momnet;) :)we will be having some over night rain soon tonight or tomorrow so thats good for the plants( my garden not to dry yet as it has lot of shade):) have a good warm week.

Both my water butts have been empty for 2-3 weeks and the clay soil is very dry and cracked.

I've never had the need for a water butt here, rain never usually too far away, this year though is an exception :)

Both mine are empty too..and I have given the pots a miss tonight,as its been cloudy and grey,and they have been moved into a shadier area,ready for going away at the weekend..a kind neighbour is going to water them for me :o).I doubt if they would still be alive when we got back,..hotting up again apparently ..back to the watering tomorrow ..

I am eeking out the stored rain-water, looks likely that the ericaceous plants in pots are going to need it for a fair while yet. It is such a long time since we last had temperatures in the 20s and more than a few days of sun at one time that it seems unreal .... could this be a proper summer !!!!
