Bought for 50p as it was considered 'dead' by the garden centre. I have had it 7 yrs and it flowered for me after 2 years. It has flowered every year since.

Me too :) Have you tried saving it's seed, and growing a few more...? I always intend to, but never get round to it...maybe this year...
