This was the first year I began growing plants on my balcony. I live on the 9th floor facing east and I have no overhang so it gets quite hot up here.

Really lovely display....it must have given you a lot of pleasure....
Have you got room for a small Parasol on your Balcony, if so you could have it up when its very Hot....I very often shade plants with a Parasol, if the heat is too intense....
