A deep purple, Fran. I do like it, but why do mail order companies keep sending me the wrong things?

Tetra - I'm surprised at you! ;-/ Just stop watering the pot, keep it frost free over the winter, then start watering again in the spring!

Garden centre label said they want lots of sun, so I didn't buy one but they are my favourites, just love the shape,

I did grow some from the corm-y tuber-y things this year, so I'm quite chuffed that I have two with flowers on! (I sold the others on my plant stall...)

Couldn't you grow one in a pot and move it round?

I tried that once but it wasn't successful, maybe one day, there is a bronze coloured one I love.

Sorry, Spritzhenry! I was interested by the thumbnail, clcoked on it and I was so taken with the plant when I first saw the picture that I didn't notice the pic title; I just read the comment you'd posted with the picture.

It was only just now, when I saw that you'd commented on my comment, and saw the picture title, that I slapped my forehead and went "durrrrrrr!"
