Autumn crocus colchicum autumnale

These beautiful bulbs have been flowering in my garden for about a month now. I used a steel ring to support the flowers this year to great effect. Last year they were beaten flat to the ground with the rain and wind.

That is a good idea (steel ring) they do have a tendency to fall over. I have many of them.
