Hello Kaustubh, That is either Clematis Gipsy Queen or Clematis Etoile Violette. I'm sorry I can't remember which! I have planted both in that spot at different times. Both varieties do very well with masses of bloom. If you google them or go to a specialist clematis site you will find pictures to compare!

Well, I'm not sure where Maharashtra is until I look it up, but they like a cool root run with plenty of water and their heads in the sun, but whether your climate is too warm I don't know. They will grow in partial shade also. Hope this helps!

Maharashtra is in India... where mumbai/bombay is... I suppose you have heard of these places... My maximum temp in summer is around 43 degrees centigrade and the highest in winters is around 18. lowest are 20 and 3 respectively.
