Very unusual, is it an Agave of some sort, Brandi ?

These pictures were taken at the Botanical Garden in Corpris Kristi, Texas. I am not sure exactly what it is! LOL I just like unique plants!!! I wish I could grow these in Tennessee but we can't, our winters will kill them!
