On the front of the house this year I planted simply impatiens (very shadey in the front), vinca and another draping vine I can't remember the name of. The past couple of years the flowers I've used were darker in color and from a distance looked like a black hole. So, I went simple and light in color. They are coming along nicely...

Very pretty 1198! My latest purchases were more the shade type also. Impatiens and I too put in the vinca, the solid green and the variegated. I had the vinca in a large half wiskey barrel with a lavender that I gave to my son when I moved to apt. I love the vinca it is very hardy and blooms perfect little purple flowers!
