I was given these and would appreciate any advice you could offer

I'd repot these into separate pots. The one with flat pads is Opuntia microdasy I believe, and it requires more moisture than the others.
I'd put them in clay pots with gritty compost. Give a good drenching and then keep dryish for the winter in a cool but frost free place. The Opuntia will need watering more frequently, but always let the compost dry out first.
