Aquilegia vulgaris 'William Guiness'

By Andrewr

Aquilegia vulgaris 'William Guiness' (Aquilegia vulgaris)

I first came across this plant in a Chelsea Flower Show courtyard garden in 2001 (hated the rest of the garden but loved this plant). If kept in isolation from other aquilegas, it appears to come true from seed. Also known as 'Magpie' which I think describes the colouring more aptly

What else?

See who else is growing Aquilegia vulgaris.

See who else has plants in genus Aquilegia.

This photo is of "Aquilegia vulgaris" in Andrewr's garden
