Another one of my Crocosmias

Another one of my Crocosmias

Another one of my Crocosmias, this one produces loads of yellow flowers. It grows to around 3ft or so and produces a sensible sized clump.

Is this blooming now Gd? Have you still got quite a bit of
colour in the garden...most of my plants have died down
now... I have Sedum, Heathers, & Large Autumn Shrubs
that are now full of berries, mainly for the Birds for Winter
feeding...

I do have some yellow flowers on one of my Crocosmias but not this one. The photo was taken in the middle of August. I have a few plants with some flowers on but mostly they have all had a haircut and some have been moved. I have topped up with mulch ready for the coming bad winter!

I love these, tho I always think they signal the beginning of autumn. Have six varieties. Emily Mackenzie is a beauty Sticki a lovely rusty orange with a big dark eye, but my favourite is Jackanapes, red and yellow..so very cheerful. Goodness, its nearly that time again!

I have to say Sticki, there are a few where I can see very little difference, I think the trick must be to have the ones that have big differences and leave the rest..Im trying to apply this rule to everything I buy...Huh! dont say it works mind you...
