It's the first time I have tried taking rose cuttings. These 2 struck from four I tried.

Hb...Did you root them in pots?...I thought it had to be a 12" trench with sand at the bottom..Then 9" rose stems pushed into the trench and left there for 12 months?....I always thought it was a bit of a bother....

I saw that gardener woman on The One Show (can't remember her name) and she said they were really easy to do, a lot easier than most people think.
