Kalanchoe orgyalis

hywel

By Hywel

Kalanchoe orgyalis

Native to rocks and dry soils in southern and southwestern Madagascar.
It's common name is 'Copper Spoons' and it's obvious why .... but I prefer the botanical name :o)

They do look like cooper spoons! Lovely plant. We have 4 different Kalanchoes in the yard (in the pots) but this is not one of them :-(

Thanks. It goes like that when it gets a lot of light, and it's been on the window sill.

So is that a sign of distress, or would it just be a natural part of the seasons in the wild?

I think it's just that colours get stronger in the light. It's only in an east facing window.
