What a fantastic looking house; just like in the movies. To us in the uk this is how all American homes are portrayed, they are obviously for real. Great!

This style built in 1922 is called a " Cottage Bungalow " Often refered to as " one story and a half " because the walls upstairs go staright up to about waist height and then they go at an angle because of the angle of the roof. The house looks very small in this photo. There are three bedrooms upstairs and living room, dinning room, kitchen and another bedroom which I use as an office on the first floor. It's the room that projects out to the right on the right hand side of the door. If you look closely you will see me waving at you in the window ( just kidding ). We have two more finished rooms in the basement. One is a guest room and the other my partner usues as an office. This was a great find five years ago as it was a bank foreclosure and we were able to buy it for half the price of the market value at the time. We had an agent watching very carefully for a house for us and we bought the house the same day as the bank listed it. Amazingly for a foreclosure, the house was in great shape and all we had to do is redecorate to our taste. The outside left a lot to be desired as there wasn't a single plant, tree or bush in the back and all there was in the front were 8 half dead shrubs. Nice clean slate to start gardening.
