I must get another one of these. The one I brought from the old garden has died. I don't think it liked being in a pot for so long.

My C.cirrhosa 'Lansdowne Gem' looks poorly this autumn - its leaves look tatty and it has no buds. I may have to replace that! Can't think why, it was growing strongly. Could these be casualties of the wet weather, Hywel?

Now that could be so Spritzhenry.
Mine lived happily in a pot for 3 yrs and this summer it just died.
I don't know what variety it actually was, but def. C. cirrhosa.
Such a lot of my plants have been affected by this terrible summer. - the same as everyone I suppose.

I could give you a long, long list but I won't - I'll just mention my contorted willow which is very unhappy, and all my new hardy Osteospermums rotted at their roots before they could get going. What a pain!

Hope next year's better !

That,s a very pretty one Spritz , Another one for my list !

I have been pleased with mine this year, they have all flowered very well ,
I have tried taking cuttings in the past with not very much success .
To late to try this year I think !

Ahhhhh Beautiful Clematis 'Freckles'....

I have a 'Freckles' growing entwined, with my Clematis 'Niobe' to keep a longer interest on my garden fence....
I bought it this year and i'm hoping it will bud and flower ; But with the soggy summer, that we've experienced, i'm hoping the roots are not bogged and rotting!
I'm eagerly watching my 'Freckles', with crossed fingers.

Good luck to You all.
