what to do with the branches , they are a bit bare . shall I cut them shorter ? will they throw out more growth ? at the moment all the foliage is at the ends of the branches !!! advice please

Yes Janey, we had quite a lot this year ,we have had it about 5yrs now .
I do like figs so I would like to make the most of it .!

This photo is of "Fig Tree " in Amy's garden
Maybe depends on the type Amy, the one we used to have was wild and I would prune some of it, in Spring, then it would shoot out of the lumpy bits. Different climate there though. Does it fruit much?
