Usually when you get to the top of this rise, you would see our city stretched out before you and our 300 metre high monolith named Castle Hill in the background.

Ha ... probably wouldn't go astray today Sue. We're expecting king tides as well ... so there's going to be lots of flooding around our city today!!

It varies Homebird ... it depends on the strength of the monsoonal trough or the cyclones that cause this weather. Last year our 'wet' lasted for nearly a month ... this year it's only been a couple of weeks - but they've been uncommon for us during the past 20 years.
