Clematis/Butterfly Gourd

I made this one a while back. I put a laquer on it to protect it and it made it too glossy. I'm thinking about sanding it down and covering it with clear matt finish. It will give it a more natural look.

I swear...if you aren't just oozing with creativity ! Is there anything you can't do.....! Please don't destroy that artwork on this gourd, it's beautiful ! Just make another one with a more natural look, that's more to your liking, cause this one is really to MY liking...lol.

It's that ADCD, Flcrazy :0 I just want to do a lite sanding and refinish it w/ a dull finish . I like it too, it's just a wee bit too shiny. I shouldn't have used a high gloss finish. I did not paint the butterflies (shh... don't tell they're decopaged :) I used a wood-burning pen to draw the outlines and make accents on the flowers. The clematis flowers and vine are painted on with watercolors.
