A Home Made Mushroom

The tree is an Eriobotrya Japonica and the fruit is the Loquat. My husband grew it from seed and I think it's about 30 years old. It blossoms about January and the scent is lovely, but I do believe it blossoms at different times of the year in warm countries. This one came from Cyprus.
