Thank you joannie, it's in need of good trim and tidy now, so much rain its all gone wild!! (not the dog the garden hehe!)

Hi Maz, i love your garden. Great livestock too. I just wondered what the name of the lovely white flowering shrub is on the left? Also, we have a 'dead' dicksonia in common by the sound of it so I'll be taking note of any tips. I think mine is just a complete dead stump. Have had several Little Chats with it but to no avail so far....

hi mini, thank you, its agapanthus.... very beautiful... and now mostly dead! i have had a very bad couple of years with my established plants... all the bulbs have rotted, ideally they want planting in pots so they can be lifted easily in the winter... lol@ chats with dicksonia... its true, they dont seem to listen!! good luck!!
