Bunny got full of clover and was settling down for a rest just as the little finch came along.

Never seen such a beautiful bird, flying free that is!

We get lots of these in the garden, especially when the sunflowers have seeds on. They also sing very prettily, you often hear them before you see them! Certainly not shy!

Finch?? Gillian? we get the red ones. The yellow ones we see now & then. Great shot. What does bunny do to your garden?????????????????

This is an American Goldfinch, we are lucky to see lots here. They do have to compete with a particular robin who spends much of his day bathing in the birdbath though! The robin will only share with a few birds, a sparrow and a couple of house finches he seems to have made friends with!
The rabbit and I have a sort of agreement - he eats the clover and dandelions from the lawn and doesn't eat too many things from the flowerbed. He's generally pretty good about this, though sometimes brings a couple of friends over who don't know the 'rules'! As you can see he has become very comfortable in our garden :)
