Plants Set From Seed Last Year

Here are a few plants that I've grown from seed. Including Primulas from Amy :-) and Silybum Marianum Thistle from Sid, top left. :-)

They all look brilliant, Dawn. I really will have to get a move on and get some seeds planted but it's so cold outside :(

I know Gee, so very cold. I set these around late Summer. I think the mild Autumn gave them a good start and they've been in the greenhouse, within an inner bubble wrap tent. Its been so cold for so long, I'm lucky to still have them.

Oh no Amy, I wonder what happened to yours. I'll have to send you some back, lol. They are quite slow to germinate, arent they. I started these off in the coldframe and then put them in the greenhouse for winter. How are your stocks Amy, mine are still in leaf and quite big, out in the coldframe.

My stocks are looking o.k Dawn , I set them in the garden last autumn and they look to have survived the bad weather so they must be pretty hardy ..
Don't worry about the Primulars , they need wet ground which I haven't got , your lake side and stream will be ideal , I'm looking forward to seeing them there .. :o))
