It's so strange to see this plant purposely planted in a garden. It grows wild here...the canyon by my house has thousands in it. :>)

Its sold as an ornamental grass here ..

I don't thing it can be sold here in CA. anymore! It's on the list of most invasive plants. It's impossible to get rid of.
