After farmyard manure was laid in November, we left the plots to "weather", then this week we dug them over again, ready for planting potatoes, carrots, onions and tomatoes very soon. The weather on the 28th of February was amazing, as you can see from the fact that my son in law Warren was "shirt off" digging!!!!

~some years ago drove from Cherbourg to just past Rennes in March~ the weather was lovely although a bit cold at night!
