Cooking or eating apple, Cinders ?

29 Jul, 2010

Well cooking really, but if you can leave them long enough they are ok for eating. I have three of these trees, ideal for small gardens, all named after dances, waltz, polka, cant remember the other one, but senior moments, and labels missing, I dont remember which one is which now. Had them about fifteen years.

You've certainly got a few apples on there, are your other trees the same?

Yes they all have quite a few apples on, enough for me anyway, but last year I was overloaded with apples, which was nice in one way as I could fill the freezer with apple pies, crumbles, etc. I do a lot of cooking in the summer, making use of all the fruit and veg

Well that is the way to do it. Nothing better than home made pies and crumbles.
