if you have room for an apple tree it's great to pick your own fruit. The blossom in the Spring is lovely. On our trees I hang bird nuts etc to encourage the birds so that hopefully they keep the tree clean of bugs. We have apple trees and store the fruit in the garage over the Winter months. Apple crumbles and apple pies...lovely!!!Lindak.
