Pots grown in a compost bag

Pots grown in a compost bag

Put 3 seed potatoes (earlies work best), keep topping up compost when all frost has passed let them grow - after flowering harvest - yummy!!!

What a great example of re-use of bags - and - no digging for potatoes! It saves the back and also the danger of the potatoes being damaged by the garden fork! Many thanx for sharing this idea, Genuisscuffy.

What a fab idea, been looking at the sacks they sell, but this is so eco friendly and cheaper too. May well have a go, perhaps next year. And such good results!
