I picked these tomatoes from a late crop which had self seeded in a tub from a tomato dropped in there from last year. I potted them up and put them in the greenhouse . Our outdoor ones were coming to an end, so I didn't really have much hope of getting any crop off these at all, but have been very surprised and pleased at what we have had off of them. These are the last few from them that I took off when they were still green because of the frosts we started to get. We have been sitting a banana on them and this is how the last batch have ripened. There is only about 3 more left to ripen now.We have found that the taste of these tomatoes is better than the main crop ones, the skins are not as tough and they taste sweeter.

Nice Lin, Ours ran out a few weeks ago now, and going back to shop bought has brought us down with a bump....absolutely no taste in them at all....Lol enjoy

Thankyou Paul....They definately are Yummy Too.
Thankyou Milky, I know what you mean about shop bought having no taste. We usually find the giant ones on the vine from Lidl are the best we've had, the're the ones we normally buy when ours run out.

Fantastic! I'd love to be able to still be enjoying the taste of homegrown toms.
