Geranium Hanging Basket

This is a Basket with last year plants in it....We aquired a small Sun Room, when we moved to this Bungalow, so I decided to over winter the Baskets.....and try and save the geraniums, it seemed a waste to just discard them, which has happened in previous years, not having anywhere to put them....I use a Lambs Wool for my lining, which I bought lots of years ago.
I left the plants in the baskets to over winter, then in spring I took them out, repaired all the holes in the baskets with fresh wool, added fresh compost, trimmed the excess root from the plants, and replanted.....I must admit, I didn't think that they were going to do anything much, as they appeared to grow lots of greenery but no sign of a flower bud.....then in June they decided to wake up, and since then they've produced flower after flower....and I saved both baskets.....
