Thankyou...they always look so fresh when they first open and fill out so quickly.
I like to plant tulips inbetween them so the hosta can hide the tulip foliage as it dies back.

These are so healthy looking. I recently bought one and it's not looking too happy :( Any helpful hints for these?

I've had these for years . They were divided and moved about 5 years ago when the new deck was bulit. This photo was taken in the early spring...these plants are huge now and a bit worse for wear with so many slugs thriving in this rain filled summer. They are very hardy and do not appear to require special treatment.
