I had this a few years back - Clethoides isnt it? - I loved it, but it loved my garden better..went everywhere lol! Now if I had Spritz's garden I would have this and that other one, darn! cant remember but it used to begin with C and now it begins with A!!! (or maybe the other way around lol) Anyway its taller but has racemes..I think I will shut up now!!!

Tet this is doing too well here, might have to go unfortunately, making some drastic decisions this Autumn...

I know the feeling DD, same with my Alstro "Golden Delight". It took over a quarter of my central circle!! I think the one I forgot was Actea?

Ahhhh yes Actea Brunette? lovely one.....one of our Alstros has the same tendency, yet the other plants that did so well last year are very poor this time?

The golden delight has been in about 4 years and the second growth has been poor. Bolero (red) has done well, as has Inca Ice, but Laguna, Inca Glow and Coral, also Inca Tropic and Inca Ginger have performed very poorly. Tell you what has really suffered..Ive been growing about 40 young clems this year, doing well in spring..but oh! the devastated pots, infested with earwigs, cant seem to get rid. Nearly broke my heart as I lost over half, despite spraying and the rest look pretty poor. Exception is Gillian Blades. Think we will have to stop feeding the birds..so praps they will work for their food!!

Bad luck about the clems Tet, earwigs can be a dreadful nuisance I know KarenS has big probs......most of our clems have performed really badly this year, has been a most peculiar growing year.
