Thanks Chrispook. It's going to be a fun Spring as my mystery yard begins to bloom. Some flowers bloomed this week and I was so excited that I actually knew what they were. Crocus.

I am not sure whather it is is a Santolina or a Lavandula (a neglected one) See what colour the flowers are - if yellow button-like flowers, it's a Santolina. If mauve tall spikes (or possibly white or pink) then it's a Lavandula species.
