The label from one of the plants I bought on Wednesday. It was reduced and I do not have a white one so decided to have it. I have a pink one and a blue one and I like them very much. They seem to enjoy our garden. I like the fact that the leaves which are almost non existant when the plant is in flower suddenly sprout up and create a new show of their own. They are evergreen too which means we have ground cover year round.

I like these plants for the same reason Sheila. FYI Binnys had many varieties earlier in the year - including the raspberry one.

Thank you Scottish I will go up and have a look. I do not mind planting and waiting for the flowers because buying now it is often possible to split the plant in to several plants and it then has time to grow and spread before next year.

I will keep an eye out for this white one. I had the blue one growing all over the place in my previous garden .... it was so prolific that I thought it must be a weed, but it was too pretty to pull up, so thankfully I left it undisturbed. I have seen a raspberry with blue too, though only in an online nz nursery catalogue, but the bicolour looked lovely, & had earmarked it for a place in the garden.

I like the fact that the foliage dies back and does not obstruct the flower display. When the new mottled green and white leaves appear they continue the season of interest for the rest of the year.

Sorry Sticki I have deleted your comments and my answers because I found I had the photograph up 5 times. I was so frustrated at the slowness of the photo being uploaded that I thought it had failed and clicked too many times. I shall check in future that one only has arrived for viewing. I like the look of that Raspberry Splash that is advertised on the right hand side.
