I wondered who'd read its species name and think of John Wyndham, Grindle! As long as it doesn't pull up its roots and walk around, that's fine by me! LOL.

well I won't hang around to save you if it does LOL

Oooohhh! Unkind! I thought you were my friend - I know different now, Grindle...:-(((

Isn't that a bit invasive, Dd??....I seem to remember??
4 Oct, 2009
Yes I think it might well be..........decide to live dangerously ....!!
4 Oct, 2009
i suppose you could always sink a barrier in round it??
4 Oct, 2009
Well I could, if there was space for a barrier lol

the more I look at this picture the more I love the way it grows :))))
5 Oct, 2009
And me! now all I need to do is to be imaginative and put plants in to 'go' with it!!

look forward to seeing what you choose :))

I have planted a purple Aster behind it - 'Purple Dome'. The label says it grows to 1.2m. but it's not tall at the moment, or in flower yet. Looks a lovely colour from the buds, though! I don't want anything too tall to take away the impact...

:) sounds perfect

Thanks. It was my first time there - I agree on the nice plants, though. :-)
