You would normally buy them early spring when they are still dormant,That would be the only way mail order.
But as sticki says speak to Bampy he is the expert and would also advise on who to buy from .

thanks brian, i thought spring but i wasnt sure.

also bampy is on the same side of the country as jewells so i expect he can recommend some local retailers.

at the moment mine are out in the garden in their pot [just leaves] hopefully making more little bulbs!!

Thanks for the tip brian so will scour the sites and try to get some bulbs. Stickitoffee hopefully we will see yours next year with pics ... I do get excited over the smallest of things :)

i hope so too jewells, but bampy's are the ones to look out for ~ he had 1,000 this year i think!!!

i got one at a rare plant fair, they dont sell them everywhere.

I don't think he sells them, sorry, best to ask him when he is back.
