Black Moss in the Spruce

Some of the tree have been claimed by black moss. I think it is a lovely part of the life cycle

They do get all drapey looking..this one stands alone..is it in the burn area?

There were a few here away from the burn. This stuff is to old to have been around after the burn. Something else did these in. :-)
