This was "planted" 8 years ago and is gathering moss nicely.

I think it's a piece of granite, Greenthumb. One of my sons brought it back from Scotland. I've got stones from all over the British Isles - lovely mementos of family holidays.

Would this be basalt or slate? Very square structure. If you know that is, shirley. :-)
