embryonic almonds

The almonds are lovely this time of year. The purplish flowers long gone. Now leafy. The alomnds are the softest green, and they are furry to the touch.

Almonds are a nice tree and one which grows well here! We had one in our front garden when I was a youngster and it was lovely and produced meny nuts!

Cor, these look wierd. it's turned hot here, and I have been gardening fit to burst! My friend Marjorie gave me some cobea seedlings. She grows it every year with great success, so i'm hoping for great things. if they once take off there'll be no stopping them. I'll try to post a few more pics soon.
