With the wet weather threatening to rot the onions, we had to lift them to dry indoors. Recruited my dad to help, as I had about 100 onions to lift!

I think he enjoyed it. To be honest, I was a little put out that he didn't leave any for me to pull up - I had been looking forward to it! Unfortunately, it was threatening rain again and we were really concerned that the onions would rot in the ground, so it was all hands on deck.

When I looked at the thumb nail of this photo, it was a headless person carrying onions.
I was very relieved when I saw your dad (with head).
He did well to lift all those onions!
