11 Jan, 2011
Thank you Margo. Did you enjoy your holidays?
11 Jan, 2011
Lots of cooking Alex but yes a great time..however, better ask my OH as he had to put up with 4 females for two days!! lol!
11 Jan, 2011
That's never good for the males...
11 Jan, 2011
Its a good job he's a listener..one of them never stopped talking for the two days..but when you live on your own I guess that happens
11 Jan, 2011
Oohh, my husband would go nuts. He's not a talker but I can talk for all of Corfu!!! But he loves me so he puts up with me.
11 Jan, 2011
Your excused Alex..after all you are the sole representative of Corfu at this present time...
We actually had one widow and one lady whose husband has altzheimers and went into care this year and my youngest sister who is mentally handicapped..doesnt stop her talking hind leg of a donkey, bless her, so we didnt have to say much either he or I..which was quite nice really
11 Jan, 2011
that is lovely.
11 Jan, 2011
I like that. I am the eco-warrior representative of Corfu.
12 Jan, 2011
Thanks Stickitoffee. ;o)
12 Jan, 2011
Tad Dah! We will all have to come over to present you with the Eco Warrior GOY medal Alex, lol!
Obviously at the most pleasant time of year when your flowers are at their best!

What an amazing colour!
Sue calls me a sponge - apparently I just sit there listening, but talking very little. It's how we learn stuff!!!
12 Jan, 2011
Oh no, not another one.....I listen but then I need to talk.
12 Jan, 2011
If I do talk chances are I'll be accused of flirting!!
12 Jan, 2011
Are you a naughty boy then???
You know the saying "Where ever there is smoke there is fire!!!
12 Jan, 2011
I'm never naughty (although I may be slightly guilty of flirting)!
12 Jan, 2011
Aha.
12 Jan, 2011
Only because they flirt with me!!!
12 Jan, 2011
Oh, so you say...
12 Jan, 2011
He entices us stealthily with all those wonderful pictures of exotic flowers...then....
12 Jan, 2011

12 Jan, 2011
It's true!
I used to be bad, but I'm good now....
12 Jan, 2011
you mean your good at being bad, whereas you were just bad before? lol!
12 Jan, 2011
tetra you will tie him up in knots ~ im confused!!
i used to be bad but now im good ~ well mostly!!!
12 Jan, 2011
I wonder if that is why my OH refuses to argue with me Sticki?
12 Jan, 2011
Jest if you wish!
I was quite the young buck back in my day!!
Shame that we have to grow up...
12 Jan, 2011
I can just see you Meanie..back in your day, polished riding boots, skin tight breeches, black coat with tails, high collar, lace cravat tied in the Mathematical, tall beaver hat...sigh..quite the Mr D'arcy in fact....
12 Jan, 2011
I would point out, before anyone remarks...I adored Mr D'arcy!
12 Jan, 2011
It was the eighties - less Mr.D'arcy and more sort of The Edge's (of U2 fame) Joshua Tree look.

12 Jan, 2011
tetra you are getting carried away now!
12 Jan, 2011
You are so right Sticki! my apologies Meanie... sorry to say I was more of a "long haired Mel Gibson" fan back then..and even at that time I was way past my first blush of youth!
12 Jan, 2011
oooh now you've set me off ~ i loved mel gibson
but daly thompson was my favourite
12 Jan, 2011
No shame in that - Mad Max were classics!
Thinking about it, the eighties weren't that bad really.....
12 Jan, 2011
Sticki - my dad met Daley once and reckoned he was a thoroughly decent bloke!
12 Jan, 2011
would you go back if you could?
12 Jan, 2011
God yes! Just for a year or two though.
The world was a lot simpler then.
And there was this girl who fancied me - very bright, good family but a bit of a "no no" to look at. Well, I bumped into her a few years after leaving school - jeez, she was a stunner. Doh!!!
Moral of that story - don't be so shallow!
12 Jan, 2011
and guess what ~ i was that girl!!!!
not really!!!
12 Jan, 2011
God, you guys have me in stitches....My husband was sitting behind me and I was laughing out loud....he just looked at me and said nothing. He must think I'm bonkers now.
I think we can all still be BAD....
12 Jan, 2011
I won't repeat her nickname publicly Sticki (such is the cruelty of youth).
Don't think that I have any regrets, just a lot of missed opportunities (in all aspects of life). I was offered the chance to invest in a business twenty years ago - the three partners recently pocketed just over £10million each whilst retaining 51%! I thought it was a dumb idea....
You can be bad Alexandra - I like my body the way that it's laid out, so I'll be good!
