Often with roses there is a change in colour, the best example I know is Masquerade. Known by a few as gas boards. I wish I could have bred roses. Only time will tell whether yours will be the same this year. One of the most interesting things of the garden is the changes in growth and colour.

To be perfectly honest, Docbob, I am not enamoured of 'Masquerade'. I had it in Kent and decided after one flowering season that it was not one I'd plant again.
Yes, I agree. The only change I really don't like is when something pops off suddenly!
