Euphorbia pulcherrima - Poinsettia, Christmas Plant

This Poinsettia is a block from my house and is about 15 feet
/ 4.6 meters tall and has just started blooming.

This is the first time I have seen the christmas Euphorbia fully grown.

That's pretty funny! I don't think of this plant
as being very tall or large. I've seen them
much, much taller and larger. : > )
The tallest Poinsettia I've ever seen was probably
more than 25 feet/ 7.7 meters tall.

Most people over here wouldn't believe that the poor Poinsettia that's currently wilting in their dining room, looks like this in its natural state.
This shows us how it 'should' look.

to have the Paul Ecke Ranch in Encinitas
which has the largest and most extensive
Poinsettia hybrid program in the world.
They produce practically every
color of Poinsettia you can imagine.
