we sell plants at the local farmers. this year we thought we'd give tomatos a go. we hope to sell little plants and then in the summer fresh toms. julians has got at least ten varieties. red ones black ones big, small, odd, and down right strange ones. hilbilly potatoe leaf for instance. just as well he started this i've lost so many succulents...it pays not to put all your eggs in one basket...

You seem to have a wonderful way of life Sandra. I suppose there are down sides like everything else, but it sounds wonderful. Hard work but wonderful :o)

we are very lucky Hywel. we moved here 16 years ago. we were four generations at first . everyone helped each other. i had four young children to care for and my mum was looking after my grandmother in her eighties and my uncle with dementia. it was the best thing we ever did. sadly the two oldies have passed on now, but now my children help us and my mum and step dad loads. well when they are not out doing teenage stuff...lol
