He seems to return every year. Made up a plant saucer as a makeshift pond for him and he spent all summer in it. Its now been upgraded to a real pond.

He sure is and this year has brought a friend with him! Harder to see him now though as he has more room to hide!

He's moving up the property ladder! My youngest son made a little mini garden when he was about 5 or 6 and used a margarine tub for the pond and a frog even visited that regularly.
