New veg beds with nets on

These are my new veg beds, I have stuck canes in the corners of the beds, tied string to them using a clothes hitch, then placed netting over the canes and the string. There are canes threaded through the netting to give the sides some weight allowing them to be lifted if any birds, hedgehogs get stuck. The string can be raised as the plants grow.

Lettuce, beans and strawberries are in, as I had grown these else where.
But I have put plenty of seeds in that can be put in now.
This was really to stop the local cats using it as a posh loo.

Very ingenious, T&T. You must have been working your socks off doing all this. Looks great.
