Sorry for the out of season pic, but the buds are beginning to grow on my Blueberry. This was some of the crop last year. Nothing beats fresh blueberries!

So delicious Weatherwise I love them made as a sauce to spoon over Vanilla icecream, yummy.
8oz Blueberries
3oz castor sugar
1 tablespn Lemon juice
1 tablespn Gin
Put blueberries and lemon juice into a saucepan over a low heat until juices start to draw, stir in castor sugar st cook for 1 - 2 mins more until fruit is totally soft.
Remove from heat and let cool.
Stir in Gin and chill.

Wow! Will have to try this recipe, Stroller!! Wonder if I could replace the gin with a small measure of rum? :-))

No harm in trying David however I think Rum would be a bit heavy and overpower the blueberries.

What else?

See who else is growing Vaccinium corymbosum (Blueberry).

See who else has plants in genus Vaccinium.
