Not sure Delonix - there was not much information on the label. This series is from a new horticultural company and they obviously think we're not interested in knowing anything other than - it's salvia. They have some great colours - but these pastels are my favourite.

Yes, I know there's many varieties out there in the nursery trade. I like the pastel colors and bright colors also.
