Epigaea gaultherioides

AndrewR

By Andrewr

Epigaea gaultherioides (Epigaea gaultherioides)

Small ericaceous shrub needing full shade and moist soil. Looks a bit like a large-leaved dwarf rhodo when not in flower. A bit nibbled but I only planted this last autumn so this is the first time I've seen it bloom

I can almost see through the petals. Beautiful delicate color.
